22. The Starry Night - The Solar System - Aliens Of UFO

Under The Starry Night...

     ðŸŒ¹ Probably, most people might not dislike to looking
on a starry night, especially in summer night... However, I wonder how many people see that starlit night nowadays...

Modern people look "pretty busy" to live in busy cities, in other words, only to make money for a living... If they don't live in a rural village in nature, then they will be even more so. We people might only be interested in "the ground", not the sky", for this earth is our origin to "live" whether it is good or bad lives on...

Furthermore, ordinary people like me don't even know stars and the universe as much as expert astronomers know it. They profoundly research into "the mystery of the universe", whereas ordinary people are only rivetted their eyes/interest on "the ground" how to live better, competing against other people... During the process, what if we cannot win others, then we are forsaken like a discarded rubbish heap as a straggler... But, it is inevitable, the rivalry is also necessary for boosting the market economy...

History demonstrated that communist countries were already ruined by which it claimed the equality between classesã…¡the rich and the poor, that being said, it was just an ideal, too...

In my personal view, liberalismã…¡kind of the principle of free market without intervention of government, or
neoliberalismã…¡maximize the empowerment for capitalists, minimize the authority/intervention of government , both don't look ideal, either.

For liberalism/neoliberalism kindles the gab between the rich and the poor, therefore the strong/the rich is only survived in the market.

So, I think that socialismã…¡kind of communism, but it differs from communism itself, but optimizes the intervention of government all sorts of field, overallã…¡also needs to govern the market economy in order to balance the gab between the rich and the poor.

In that respect, I think that the privatization that pursues the US seems not the best resolution, but nationalization might have to be involved in a case to some degree. A typical example is the problem of privatization of health care/service in the US. For this reason, COVID-19 pandemic might be attesting the problem of privatization of health care in the US... Thousands upon thousands of people have died with the problem of the privatization of health care system in the US, I think that the US is the representative example for this matter.

A long time ago, I once visited the astronomical observatory, and then observed the displayed resources of what was a space science in there. Even so, I couldn't even understand well what it was...all of them...

Plus, I had a chance to look at the sun through the big astronomical telescopeã…¡but sadly, now I don't remember anything that I observed.. As far as I remember, the arched roof was automatically opened from side to side/right and left. That day, I couldn't look at stars...

Well... what I know about the space is, only this;
The Solar System and Stars

-The solar system membersã…¡Sun, planets, satellites, minor planets, Comet.

The Solar System Members With Asteroid Belt / Image: Google
-8 planets : Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, which cannot emit light on their own like the sun. As we know, Mercury is the closest planet to the sun, and Neptune is the farthest from the sun.

-Satellites: Moon(the satellite of the earth), and there are each of satellites for that planets.

- Asteroids, minor planets : is smaller than planets, and some of minor planets have their own satellites.
Especially, there is the "asteroid belt"  between Mars and Jupiter.

* -Comet: (Wikipedia/Google) is an icy, small Solar System body that, when passing close to the sun, warms and begins to release gases, a process called outgassing. This produces a visible atmosphere or coma, sometimes also a tail. ☆ Comet is not the member of 8 planets, but is one of the solar system member in that circle.

All these things are called "the solar system" and are rotating around the sunã…¡the sun only "emits light" in the solar system.

Where Is Stars?

Stars also send out rays of light like the Sun.
Looking at the photo above, the solar system is belong to "Milky way" circle that can be observed on the earth in the night sky, so whenever we see stars in night sky, then it is the milk wayã…¡the crowd of stars, is not the Andromeda galaxy that is far apart from our milky way.

What I post this is, I think that we should know this system at least, while we live in this earth...

And, there is a mysterious "Black Hole"  that sucks everythings around into the fearful hole, and then, it never vomits/spews them, never more, thus some say that that black hole might be the gate of heaven or hell... In addition, in the universe, tons of garbage are floating without a gravity.

Black Holes / Image: Google
People have attempted to explore the Moon and Mars in order to find out something probability how to expand the territory that humans can live on except for the earth. What if that planets were proper to live on, then human's history and civilization might have been changed dramatically...

But still, unfortunately,  it looks impossible to live on there, for they are different from the earth that humans can only live on...  By the way, the earth is destroying by a great volume of population (approximately 7 billion) and by an environmental pollution owing to its overpowering population rate.

The icebergs of the north pole and the south pole are quickly melting these days, so that the surface of the water is upsurging bit by bit... perhaps someday the earth may be under water/flooded... Moreover, the sea is filled with rubbishes that human have been dumping, on this account,  lots of sea creatures are dying en masse.
What about the atmosphere?  The ozone layer is being opened more and more...

On the one hand,  people have been fancying the mystery of UFO and aliens, there have been lots of rumors that aliens might invade to the earth, even there are those who assert to have witnessed UFO, or the broken flying saucer/object, or aliens' dead bodies in the broken flying saucer somewhere elseã…¡esp. a remote area of Russia. So, the pictures/videos of necrotomy of the dead aliens have been spreading out all over the world!😂  Even Some say that aliens kidnap earthian/earthman!!

Furthermore, plenty of SF(science fiction) movies are being released, e.g. : the major moviesã…¡ ET, STAR WARS, etc. ã…¡I don't even know other manifold movies about that.

I remember one of that drama, is, " V " I think that " V " might be the initial "Victory" against aliens, which is so old drama in USA, but it was very exciting to me!  I used to only wait the day that the drama televised! ; Aliens invaded to the earth with their huge flying saucer, seemingly, they surely looked like a human's image, but their inner shapes were "reptiles",  whenever their skins were ripped, their repulsive skin like crocodiles was exposed! And they eat "alive rats" ! This was the drama;

Well, the existence of UFO and aliens is still controversial,especially Christianity argues that there is  "NO UFO" and "Aliens" according to the Bible statement, namely, Christianity argues, " God did NOT create aliens, therefore the rumor of aliens is utterly demonic, which Satan fools to deny the presence of God." In contrast,  scientists oppose against Christianity ;

Yesterday, I just read the headline of news is, this;
"There may be more than 36 intelligent alien civilizations  in the Milky Way, Scientists say ;
Humans have long suspected that
we are not alone in the universe,
and now scientists...."
June 20, 2020 CNN

I don't know what scientists want to claim about that in detail, for I just read the headline. In short,  what they have wanted to say is this, "There may exist alive aliens in the universe! "

Well, I don't want to conclude which one is right or not, for I don't want to have a prejudice about that...
In the old days, I only supported the statement of Christianity that there are no aliens and UFO, but, nowadays I think that there might exist aliens on other planetsã…¡somewhere else like God created freak/strange-shaped/deformed animals as well as dinosaur. Such deformed animals and plants are still living on the earth with humans...

Anyway, a star has drawn a remarkable attention creating art as well. For instance;
Music: operatic aria Toscaã…¡E Lucevan Le Stelle ( G. Puccini, 1858~1924, Italy) is this; I like the voice of singer, Luciano Pavarotti, who has a clear, powerful, doleful, ringing, and an appealing... voice in him... Where does it come from...

Translated; versions: #4
 And The Stars Were Shining

And the stars were shining,
And the earth was scented.
The gate of the garden creaked
And a footstep grazed the sand...
Fragrant, she entered
And fell into my arms.

Oh, sweet kisses and languorous caresses,
While feverishly I stripped the
beautiful form of its veils!
Forever, my dream of love has vanished.
That moment has fled, and I die in desperation.
And I die in desperation!
And I never before loved life so much,
Loved life so much!
Song by Luciano Pavarotti  ã…¡Quoted from Google

Literature: poems, novels, dramas... Even the Bible described the star with the sign for the birth of Christ.
Fine Art: "The Starry Night(1889)" or "Starry Night Over The Rhone(1888)" of Vincent Van Gogh.

When I was very young, I used to see a starry night
in summer,  lying down on a mat,
then, swarm of mosquitoes attacked me,
regardless of it, I liked to eat boiled corns,
seeing the vivid stars that were crammed
all over the night sky...
Then, the sound of crickets was heard in the bush...

And when I was 12~16 years old perhaps, sometimes, I played the harmonica under the starry night... Its sound was pretty doleful in my ears... I might have played the harmonica the folk song of America " My Old Kentucky Home " (composed by Stephen Collins Foster, 1853, USA) ;

Verse 1 :
The sun shines bright in the old Kentucky home
This summer, the people are gay;
The corn-top's ripe and the meadow's in the bloom
While the birds make music all the day.

The young folks roll on the little cabin floor
All merry, all happy and bright ;
By'n by hard times comes a knocking at the door
Then my old Kentucky home, Good-night!

Chorus:
Weep no more my lady
Oh! weep no more today!
We will sing one song
For my old Kentucky home
For the old Kentucky home, far away

I don't clearly remember what songs I played the harmonica... But it might have been, for I liked the song that I learned it from school music class...

Stars were lighting on every side...
I was there... with that stars...

Some say that when we see a shooting star, then someone is dying along with the star... I really believed it with my child's mind... But, I have never seen a shooting star in my life directly.... some day, I would like to see it...

Today, I want to introduce "The Star( Les Étoile)" that the young shepherd cherished in his heart under the starry night, and "The Star" that Vincent also cherished in his heart under the starry night...

Which one do you like more?...

The star that was composed by G. Puccini,
The star that Vincent painted,
The star that was written by Alphonse Daudet,
The star that I looked at under the starry night...
😉

When he painted it, perhaps he might have cherished something hope against his ill-fated life. The "swirling" stars look very dynamic, powerful, and lifelike/animated, so that we, audience, might think that we are in there, the village, with Vincent himself!

The brushstrokes and the tree also look like a life-wriggling, whereas the silent village and the sharp tower that looks like a church seem that it is "never"sensed the
"aliveness" of Vincent ã…¡his swirling desire to "live" amid his star-crossed/unfortunate life...

The village and the church in the darkness just look indifferent/nonchalant about what he cherished the hope in his hear like peoples don't know our/one's mind and heart...

At the very moment, he might have felt the presence of God alone, the alive God through his paintingã…¡" The Starry Night"...

The painted stars might have implied "the dream of Joseph" in Genesis, the Bible. For Joseph dreamed the stars that bowed down before him,

 Then he(Joseph) dreamed another dream and told it to his brothers and said, "Behold, the sun, the moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me."-Genesis 37:9/ESV

 Similarly, that night he might have wanted to come true his dream, painting the starry night, though everybody slept that night... Incredibly, the stars were" exactly" "eleven!" , Further, there was a new moon beside.
I notice it now after counting it.

But, the sun is invisible on the canvas,  for it was a night, even so he loved the passionate sun, people will know it through his sunflower paintings. Yellow sunflowers look like the sun... the summer flower looks like a flaming sun...

In the meantime, he might have felt "another world" without anyone knowing that God who created the universe was "alive"  like Vincent himself, even if he was the failed painter, his paintings were not sold... For people didn't even know his name nor did they like his style of paintings... But, other well-known impressionist artists (e.g. : Renoir, Manet...) enjoyed popularity back then.

The village (might stand for such people) and the church (might symbolize a fake religion) ignored Vincent himself...his presence...like the darkness of that night... The darkness covers everything...not to be seen...

Nevertheless, the stars were illuminating and  swirling...swirling...and swirling against the darkness on the canvas...  The swirling stars might represent the presence of Vincent himself who was alive amid "the suffering of life" and might have wanted to firmly believe that God was with him as though the life-wriggling stars... "Immanuel"  which means, God with us ;

" Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel. (which means, God with us)" -Matthew1:23 / ESV

That night, he might have been comforted along with the swirling stars that might have been his joy ; God was with him under the starry night, whereas God inexorably allowed him to "die"... That being said, "The Starry Night"  that he painted might still be swirling deep in our heart today. Most likely, most people will know his name Vincent and his dreamã…¡"The Starry Night."  He might have been the star itself as he ardently wished that night...

But, "that star" that Vincent cherished and painted is different from "this star" that the young shepherd cherished... So, today, I want to introduce " The Star"( Les Étoiles, 1885), which was written by Alphonse Daudet, France.  Some say that its story is connoted a platonic love...

The storyline

There was a young shepherd who was 20 and who was alienated from people, for he had to shepherd the flock of sheep on the LubEron mount which was far apart from villages, so that he could not even talk with people frequently, for most people didn't visit there without special purposes. Thus, a housemaid and a little boy who worked at the farm used to climb up the mount so as to deliver the shepherd's food twice a month.

That being said, he has stealthily loved a young lady who was his master's daughter, named, "Stephanette"... She was quite beautiful, and always put on elegant dresses.
Her cheeks were lovely with pink-colored like a flower petal ...🌸

Contrariwise, the shepherd was described as a lowly birth who simply shepherded the flock of sheep without having a special knowledge to get a good job...  Who would like such a shepherd back then and these days, too...? Sadly... almost all people will dislike them...

Even so, he was used to knowing stars very wellã…¡each of star's name, zodiac sign, its legend/myth...etc.,
that stars might have been his "sole" friend to talk with every night on the mount alone...

And his only pleasure was the trivial questions about the  safety of Stephanette" of how she has been via the little boy and the housemaid who have went up the mount from time to time, so to speak, how often she has attended a party and how often she has been invited for dinner, how often she has went out, how many nice young men have visited her in order to woo/court...

In doing so, he could not express/confess his love to her and other people... His love seemed like an one-sided love that was not returned to him... He might have known about himself very well who he was, so that he might have regarded himself as the man who was not able to propose to her as the lowly birth, shepherd... That's too sad... but, that's life, too...

By the way, it was a Sunday when it was reserved to get his food from the housemaid or the little boy, but oddly they didn't come to him... Furthermore, the shower/rain suddenly was coming down...

In place of them, how amazing it is! The young lady, "Stephanette", arrived at there, riding a donkey with his food! She said that the housemaid got a vacation to meet her children and the little boy was sick, hence she came to him to deliver his food in person.

At the very moment, the shepherd was enormously happy to see her in practice, on the flip side, he was utterly perplexed/bewildered just at that moment, though his dream came true...like so... For he has dreamed a dream to see her, loving her alone deep in his heart... All that said, she seemed not to know his veiled love at all... yes...at all...

She looked around his shabby thatched cottage and saw his petty/poor household itemsã…¡sheepskin, wool-made blanket, wool cloak, hunting gun, stick, etc...

And then, she asked him how he has been as the shepherd on the mount alone. Anyway, they had a good time together like so, but, at last she had to go back home... After she left from him, he just stood up there...with the lingering aftertaste... the longing... the yearning... toward her... until the sun went down... For he was not able to be with her any longer...

But, she surprisingly returned to him, for the river was flooded by the sudden shower, and it was getting dark, the darkness of evening was being encircled them and all around, plus the shepherd couldn't go away with her due to the left sheep... It's already late to do something...
Thus, they decided to spend that night "together"... No one was there except for her and him...

The shepherd gave her some food to eat and made a fire outside, lest she should be cold by the wet dress, soon after, he made a bed on straw, covering it with a new wool-made blanket. After that, he didn't sleep with her, but rather he stepped out of there to continually make a bonfire, lest it should be extinguished...

By doing so, he felt " happy" that he could care for her in this way like he was none other than a shepherd who safeguarded the flock of sheep from wolves in the mount, though his shabby cottage was not fit for her...  Despite, she seemed not to sleep well, which was not comfortable to sleep like her bed at home...

At last, she stepped out, then she also sat down side by side with the shepherd who was sitting down making the fire outside. And there, they were silent for a long time... thereafter, talked about stars. She asked about stars under the starry night, then the shepherd let her know all what she questioned...

That night, they saw a shooting star,
she rapidly asked what it was...
" What is that star?"

The shepherd answered to her,
" Miss, Stephanette...
The star is the Spirit that goes into heaven..."

In the meantime, she fell asleep like a white dove, leaning her head onto his solid shoulder... Her tender hair was fragrant...

The shepherd still sat down just as it is,  looking at her peaceful face endlessly which was leaned onto his solid shoulder...He stayed up all night long like so... until next day...

And he whispered alone ;
"  The brightest star that lost the way among innumerable stars in the night sky came down to me, and then deeply fell asleep onto my shoulder ..."

Well... people might expect a love-making scene, for no one was there excluding them, and what if the shepherd proposed to make love with her, it might have happened enough, though her heart was not described if she loved him or not in detail unlike the shepherd.

But, I wonder if she loved him or not as much as he loved her... I think that she might not have loved him who was a lowly shepherd... The shepherd might also have known his lowly birth... so that, he might simply have satisfied with that he could protect her as a shepherd... However, he was also a man who might have cherished a sexual desire as same as others have desired...

Sometimes, people might long for someone who might be already dead... or who might be far away from, so that cannot see, nor can they talk with, nor can they come and go to... , Having said that, we may have to thank about that he/she is still alive somewhere else... the news that he/she is still alive out there...not as the dead... We might have to thank because of that...

The shepherd might have cherished such a mindset toward her, though he was not able to receive her love... but, he was happy to only see her who was falling asleep, leaning her head onto his shoulder... Nevertheless, he was not able to approach to her, even if he was with her very closely...
She might have been "the star" that he could not approach as the lowly birth...

Even so, he might have cherished her and might have wanted to whisper to her, "You are in me...Stephanette..."  during all night long...

Like the moment when she asked him,
"What do you enjoy spending your time alone, here?
And what do you have in mind?"

But only, the shepherd answered to himself
without knowing her,

" Thinking of  you..."

 Si vous avez jamais jamais passé la nuit à la bel
le étoile, vous savez qu'à l'heure où nous
dormons, un monde mystérieux s'éveille
dans la solitude et le silence.

Which translates,
If you have been stayed up all night
under the beautiful starlight,
then you may know that
another mysterious world awakes
in the solitude and in the silence
while everybody sleeps...
