1. Abandoned Items By People
Loads of goods are getting dissipated and discarded because we people live in a richness of goods these days. People often say in reference to the richness of goods or the fast-growing technology, which means that they want to highlight the fact that we now live in a productive 21 century.
While tons and tons of goods are getting produced in light of consumers' continuing demands. When those products become useless and wear out and when people lose their interest in such goodsㅡthough it is still usefulㅡthen people throw away them right away and mercilessly.
Having said that, some can never throw out used goods of any kind as if an awful miser; even they tend to accumulate abandoned items(in fact, it is trash) one by one at their home as much as possible that is known as a mental disease called kind of paranoia or obsession... Thus their homes are crammed with such a rubbish heap. Even so, every person tends to accumulate something as though agile squirrels in the woods; squirrels accrue nuts bit by bit. In addition, every person likes seeing the mounting accretion, in contrast, there are those who follow simple minimalism, so they enjoy a blank space in which the accumulative accretion is not placed in opposition to man in the street.
By the way, incidentally, the supply and demand of goods look like an ebb and flood. Things wear out someday as if an ebb and are newly produced as though flood... Such discarded things get rusty and are covered with a thick layer of dust and are deformed unseemly over the years... On that account, nobody cares about such discarded things; we people do not want to touch them nor do we want to see them. However, among discarded things, there are sparkling gems, and therein lies ingenious, expensive, and valuable antiques which were made in the 18~20 century. So buyers in a pawnshop or curio collectors are supposed to cast covetous eyes to purchase that antiques. The price of those antiques is formidable!
2. Incredible Restoration Specialists
Restorers are outstanding specialists, yet they are hardly acclaimed by people today like discarded things or antiques are disregarded... In my book, they look severely smart; how incredible they restore and reassemble intricate accouterments of each of those things such as broken machines! They look like the enchantress of the fairy tale Cinderella; the ugly and old pumpkin was transformed into a shiny gold carriage and the mice were transformed into horsemen in a twinkle! :)
Lately, I got to watch attention-grabbing YouTube channels on which restorers have restored discarded things or antiques, thus I was so impressed by watching their restoration works that is why I also blog to convey smart restoration specialists and the value of antiques.
Every time they restore discarded things, they have to grapple with how to restore those things as if a newie, of all things, it seemed pretty hard works! Because firstly they have to dissect the complicated accouterments of abandoned items one by one, secondly have to clean each insert meticulously with various cleaners or removers or chemicals, thirdly have to reassemble each insert back again precisely, fixing all broken functions, fourthly have to test such abandoned items if it works well actually or not, lastly, polish them to be shown more perfectly! None of us will like working such backaching works alongside noise, dust, dangerous chemicals, hammering, nailing, soldering(it might cause lead or mercury or heavy metal poisoning, etc. ), applying paint, cutting, molding, and so on... They seemed to have worked it for several days, using every trick in the book unlike other YouTubers who make money more easily, in other words, those who simply use their tongues without toil, although making a video is difficult for every YouTuber...

Despite the hard labors, restorers seem to enjoy their works feeling the sense of achievement that discarded things are being nicely transformed through their hands, moreover, the broken functions do work really because of restorers' expert technique! I also like seeing their marvelous restoration and its fruition! Those restoration specialists have diverse equipment, accouterments, and tools to fix and restore them; even they look like a universal provider!

3. The Merticulous Craftsmanship Of Antiques
In effect, I have not been interested in having antiques and have not understood curio collectors who have collected unmodern antiques these days! Most people in the modern-day prefer having the latest and on-trend products rather than having outmoded antiques... But I got to understand them after watching the channels of restoration on YouTube. While I was watching the scene of restoring antique restorers restore, which was made in the 18~20 century, my eyes were getting captivated by handmade antiques! Even I came to want to buy that antiques. If I were rich, I would buy them...; for example, a piece of antique mahogany furniture,ㅡespecially a chair, table, bookcaseㅡ lamps, accessories, rug, kettle, etc. All these things look ingenious, genteel, solid, meticulous, and artistic..., which says that therein lies meticulous craftsmanship called monozukuri in Japanese as well, so to speak, Japan's enterprises have bolstered the manufacturing industry on the basis of craftsmanship, so they struggle to make the best products as a means of craftsmanship. Accordingly, monozukrui represents the spirit of Japan's manufacturing industry and the pride of Japan therewith, and thereby Japanese products and their brands, such as electronic goods and cameras, are known all over the world, so I think that these representative Japanese products brands would be known worldwide: Canon, Sony, Fuji Xerox, Yamaha, Sanyo, etc., and Toyota, Honda, Nissan, etc. these car brands are accustomed to see or hear in every country.
Well, I like German products and trust their products more than Japanese products..., although I cannot buy German products frequently in which I live. It might be one of the examples: A few years back, I incidentally discovered a discarded fountain pen, which was made in Germany, on a trash heap! It looked pretty new, so it became my pet pen ever since that day; every time I write something at my home, I'm always amazedㅡhow ace the pen is! I have petted this fountain pen! Someone seemed to discard the pen willfully because the pen has to use with bottled ink; nowadays people rarely like using that kind of inconvenient pen... Now I use a good ink made in Germany too. I got to applaud the discarded fountain pen made in Germany; the weightiness and the sense of writing on the paper and the sense of gripping the pen are ace, and its nib helps to softly write, what is more, the nib optimizes the quantity of ink magically so that there is devoid of an abnormal quantity of ink on the paper! The pen is apparently different from other dip pens that is why I have petted it! Of all things, whenever I write with the fountain pen that was deeply ingrained in craftsmanship, I am moved by the brilliant function of the fountain pen every time. This is the discarded pen I picked up the very day. We see the quantity of ink is changeless on the paper as below:

I think that if countries bring to a stop the manufacturing industry, then those countries cannot help but ruin someday. The richer the countries, the more it must invest to develop the manufacturing industry. These days, people (especially intelligent and rich people) seem to disparage the manufacturing industry and its work and its physical(manual) workers called blue-collar workers, instead, they only seem to idolize white-collar jobs. Because people slight 3D(difficult, dirty, dangerous) works and its workers that is why most poor foreign workers or illegal sojourners who come from poor countries are in charge the 3D works in the field of manufacturing industry immediately...
Anyhow, in my book, outdated and handmade antiques were deeply ingrained in craftsmanship, that kind of high-minded spirit of makers radiates on old-fashioned antiques, which modern products are hardly thinkable!
While restorers were restoring the rusty, deformed, dirty, and broken lighter or old-style razor or wine stainless-made bottle made in Europe such as the UK, Germany, France via their YouTube channels, I imagined plenty of unnamed soldiers who would use those things in world war II. I felt like I was in world war II with unnamed and dead soldiers... Finally, when the restoration works and last polishing were finished, those things were newly and imperially shining!
Not only that, I watched those restorers who handle discarded things or outdated antiques with care and who pet the restored things as if gems; such restored items were dramatically transformed as though a reversal drama such as the fairy tale, "Beauty and the Beast!" In the end, those abandoned items become handsome princes!
4. My Restoration Work
Truth be told, I might be one of the restorers because I have delivered my dead articles by proofreading and editing, and recently I restore the old canvases that I failed to paint on. When I newly paint on those musty canvases, I might be feeling the sense of achievement a bit that restorers would also be feeling like me. My articles and paintings are like abandoned items by people because they are low-profile... Nevertheless, I have restored them like those restorers who have to work with much toil, and such restorers' works are also low-profile works, whereas there might be those who have published their articles more easily..., although every writing is difficult like making YouTube videos. Hope my articles and paintings radiate that kind of craftsmanship as if outdated and low-profile antiques radiate it over the years...
